I offer online counselling supporting women caregivers
Women caring for elderly parents, partners or family members often put their own needs last. Often, they do not have the mental or emotional capacity for any self-care. Caregiving can be meaningful but also isolating, frustrating, stressful and emotionally exhausting. It can also lead to identity loss.
Problems I help with:
Caregiver burnout especially when caring for elderly parents or family members
Guilt and loss of identity
Anxiety and worry
Emotional exhaustion
Feeling invisible or not validated
Grief and loss
Life transitions and adapting to change
I believe healing and personal growth happen when people feel understood and supported. Counselling is about us working together to understand new ways to move forward. I integrate evidence-based counselling therapies with somatic (body based) awareness for a holistic approach.
I can meet you wherever you are on your journey. You don’t have to do it alone.
I have appointment slots day and evening and I can work in a time that suits you.
I offer a free no obligation 20-minute chat.
My counselling fee is $120 for an hour.
You can contact me via the ‘Contact’ page, and I will get back to you within 24 hours.

Testimonials
“Susan is a wonderful counsellor! She was everything I needed when I took the steps to seek some help as I struggled with a toxic relationship.
She is kind, compassionate, caring and listens well. I always felt heard and understood but importantly, never judged. The tools and tactics Susan suggests are helpful and I found that they did work when I did my part as well.
Susan was very generous with me, and I couldn’t express my gratitude to her strongly enough for the help she gave me. With her help I was able to see new perspectives and overcome hurdles that would have been much harder and taken much longer had I done it alone.
Thank you, Susan.”

“Susan helped in more ways than I could ever imagine. I had issues of anger, disappointment, sadness, depression, and anxiety in my former workplace as a disability support worker.
The stress in that working environment was tough especially dealing with staff and upper management. Susan had a very non-judgemental approach and I felt really comfortable in revealing all and expressing myself to the fullest. I kept coming back after many sessions as I was gaining a lot out of them. We worked together in collaboration with my feelings of anger, anxiety, and depression.
I felt so much lighter rather than this dense heaviness and sickness in my throat and stomach of depression, anxiety, and anger.
I thank Susan so much for patience, grace, and unconditional acceptance. Thank you, Susan”

“Susan is a gifted EFT practitioner and counsellor. In fact, she is one of the best counsellors I have ever seen. When I did EFT with her, she was so present and easy to connect with. I felt seen and understood by her in sharing my most vulnerable, hidden self and she helped me shift a deep-seated psychological issue.
I recommended one of my best friends to see her who is also very grateful to Susan for her help.
Thankyou Susan for bringing my darkness to light.”

“Susan is a great listener and made me feel very validated. She has given me very useful practical advice. After seeing Susan and learning more about my nervous system and using EFT in therapy, I have been less anxious and overwhelmed and have felt a light at the end of a tunnel. For the first time in ages, I feel like I can get on top of issues I felt stuck with.
Thank you, Susan.“
